Spike Hains lives in Dexter, Michigan, has a degree in computer technology, a masters in Human-Computer Interaction, and works as a technology and product analytics architect for a global information company. His interests include accurate and representational rendering in watercolor, oil, acrylic as well as photography and playing stringed instruments. He continues to develop his skills painting en plein air at a student level while cultivating his interest in teaching the arts to others.
