Janet Kohler has been exhibiting her paintings and drawings for over 40 years and teaching workshops and classes since 1992. She received her BFA from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and her MFA from Eastern Michigan University. Her pastels and oils have been exhibited nationally and internationally and are included in many corporate and private collections. Janet teaches pastel classes at the Visual Arts Association of Livonia, Interlochen Center for the Arts (Adult Summer Arts program), and a plein air retreat in the Loire Valley in Southern France.
